  • Tube Rentals
    • Age Limit - What is the age range?
      • Participants must be the age of 10 and over 60lbs. otherwise the trip is friendly for all ages. We can provide a guide to accomidate your group for an additional charge. With a guide the age limit can be lowered. Give us a call for details
    • Check In - What is Check In?
      • All participants must check in 15min. before the top of the hour in order to have your equipment transported, for groups larger than 10 please call ahead to catch the next whitewater adventure trip
    • Check In - Where Do I Check In?
      • We no longer accept payment for Rentals at the Riverwalk Booth, instead we will post representivies at the Gervais Street Takeout to assist you

    • Connect - Can we hook boats together?
      • Yes, we discourage using rope to tie any watercraft together due to the possibility of entanglement, instead a carabineer is suggested, pick one up from the Shop on your way out $3-$6. Two to three boats can be connected together if using a carabineer
    • Coolers - Can we have them?
      • No Styrofoam Coolers and NO GLASS; COOLER LIDS MUST STAY SHUT BEFORE AND AFTER THE TRIP, IF WE SEE BEER CONTAINERS OR BEER BOXES THE PARTICIPANT WILL BE DENIED ACCESS TO THE BUS AND RIVER; IF THE PARTICIPANT IS DRINKING AT THE EXIT/TAKEOUT (WEST COLUMBIA RIVERWALK), STATIONED POLICE OFFICERS WILL ARREST ANYONE WHO DISREAGRDS PUBLIC SAFETY
    • Depth - How deep is this section of river?
      • You will begin with some rapids which are deep in several sections, the river then widens out as is from calf to waiste deep
    • Discounts - Got a big group and need a break?
      • We do not offer discounts on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) however we will work up a price for any group that exceeds 10 participants Monday - Friday Call for Details
    • Distance - How far do we go?
      • You start at the Riverbanks Zoo region and Takeout under the Gervais Street Bridge at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater Park
    • Foot Protection - What can I wear on my feet?
      • The best foot protection is a closed toe sandal but having anything on your feet is better than nothing, just plan to loose what you bring if it dont strap to your feet
        I have seen old pairs of sneakers / tennis shoes successfully run the river
    • Fun Factor - How wet will I get?
      • A Fun Class II and other class I rapids with severals areas to swim around, you will see the state house from a new vantage point, a classic float through Columbia, South Carolina
        Oh yea, the first rapid has a 100% soaking rate!
    • Guided - Are the trips provide a guide?
      • For an additional charge we will send a guide on your trip to assist you throughout your trip which will allow participants unter the 10 year old limitation to tube, we can provide a guide on any of our tips for an small additional fee Call for Details
    • Hours - When is the shop open?
      • We Operate: Monday - Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturdays 10am to 7pm and Sundays 1:30pm to 7pm. Shuttles run at the top of every hour starting memorial day - labor day.     • Length - How long is the trip?
      • Depending on water levels the trip usually takes about 2 to 3 hours
    • Payment - Where do I pay for the rentals?
      • You will come to our Payment Center, 731 Meeting Street, West Columbia...we will then direct you to the pickup location

    • Price - How much does it cost to float the river?
      • The tubing trip will cost $15per person per tube, this includes a life jacket (PFD) and transportation of you equipment. We have a suttle bus that operates Memorial Day - Labor Day but ALWAYS SHUTTLE the drivers back to vehicles YEAR ROUND; Call for Details
    • Putin - Where do we shart?
      • You putin near the Riverbanks Zoo and will float a two mile section of the Three Rivers Confluence, Enjoy the two to three hour float and see Columbia from a new vantage point
    • Reservations - How do I reserve boats and tubes?
      • Go Click on our Reservation Button and select the down arrow for rental options

    • Shuttle - When does the shuttle run?
      • Starting Memorial Day weekend the shuttle will run at the top of every hour until labor day, call for an appointment any other time 803-360-4697
        YOU MUST CHECK IN AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE TOP OF THE HOUR
    • Safety - How safe is this section of river?
      • There are NO Lifeguards, you are provided with a life jacket for you to wear! The river is safe for everyone who uses the proper equipment
    • Takeout - Where do we finish?
      • After floating past the historic state house you will takeout at the Gervais Street Bridge in the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater Park
